How do I become a member?
Contact the samiti office. The office opens your membership and gives you a member number, and your sign-in account is created with it.
How do I sign in the first time?
Use your member number and your registered mobile number as the first password. The app then asks you to set a new password.
What if I forget my password?
Tell the office. When an admin resets it, your password becomes your mobile number again, and you set a new one after signing in.
Can I deposit money online?
Not yet. Pay at the office as usual. The deposit shows in your passbook as soon as the office records it.
Who can see my account?
You and the samiti office. Other members can't see your account.
How is the dividend decided?
At year-end the committee sets the total. It is shared among active members by their Amanot and fixed Amanot, within the limits in settings, and added straight to their Amanot.
When is the office open?
Every day from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Office: Own Building (2nd Floor), Alurghat Road, Bottoli, Lohagara. Phone: 01818-442636.
Where do I find my member number?
The office gives you your member number when it opens your membership. If you don't remember it, ask at the office. You need it to sign in.
How are my deposits recorded?
When you pay at the office, or a staff member collects at your shop, the office enters it in the app. As soon as it is entered, it shows in your passbook.
Do I get an SMS after an entry?
Yes. When a transaction is entered in your account, an SMS goes to your registered mobile number. If no SMS comes, or your number has changed, tell the office.
What if someone asks for my password by phone?
Don't give it. The society never asks for passwords by phone or SMS. If you get such a call or SMS, tell the office.
Does anyone else get my personal data?
No. Only you and the society office (by each staff member's duties) see your data. It is never sold or used for advertising. Details are in the privacy policy.
