The whole samiti, in six parts

Everything that used to go into the paper ledger has its own place in the app.

  • Members and nominees

Member details, business, address and up to two nominees. Membership active, inactive, suspended or exited.

  • Amanot, share and fixed Amanot

Every deposit and withdrawal lands in the member's passbook. The app checks the withdrawal limit itself.

  • Loans and installments

Application, approval, disbursement and installment collection. The app works out interest and the schedule.

  • Cash, bank and samiti entries

Cash book, bank accounts, income and expense, assets and liabilities, and transfers between accounts.

  • Year-end

Service charge, depreciation, dividend and profit appropriation. Every step is previewed before it runs.

  • Reports

Receipts and payments, income and expenditure, balance sheet, trial balance and the dividend list. Printable.

One fiscal year, July to June

The app follows the samiti's year. Each year-end step happens in order.

  1. 1

    1 July

    A new year starts

Member and samiti balances carry forward; income and expense start from zero.

  2. 2

    All year

    Deposits, withdrawals and loans

The office records each transaction and the member sees it in their passbook right away.

  3. 3

    Year-end

    Service charge and depreciation

The yearly charge comes out of Amanot. If the balance is short, the rest is taken from the next deposit.

  4. 4

    Year-end

    Dividend

The committee's amount is shared among active members within the limits in settings.

  5. Year-end

    Profit appropriation and closing

Net profit goes to the funds, and the old year's books are locked.

Books that keep their own record

  • Nothing is erased

A wrong entry is reversed. The original and its reversal both stay in the ledger.

  • Closed years stay closed

Once a year is closed, nobody can add or reverse an entry dated in it.

  • Each role, its own rights

Super admin, admin and member can each do only what their role allows.

  • A name on every entry

Who recorded each entry, and when, is kept with the transaction.

  • Exact to the paisa

Every amount is kept in paisa. Nothing is rounded along the way.

  • Careful sign-in

You set your own password at first sign-in. Repeated wrong passwords pause sign-in for a while.

Common questions

How do I become a member?

Contact the samiti office. The office opens your membership and gives you a member number, and your sign-in account is created with it.

How do I sign in the first time?

Use your member number and your registered mobile number as the first password. The app then asks you to set a new password.

What if I forget my password?

Tell the office. When an admin resets it, your password becomes your mobile number again, and you set a new one after signing in.

Can I deposit money online?

Not yet. Pay at the office as usual. The deposit shows in your passbook as soon as the office records it.

Who can see my account?

You and the samiti office. Other members can't see your account.

How is the dividend decided?

At year-end the committee sets the total. It is shared among active members by their Amanot and fixed Amanot, within the limits in settings, and added straight to their Amanot.
